Coastal Management Solutions in the final option year for the Global Business Solutions contract. The contract end date is September 18, 2021. The purpose of the Global Business Support (GBS) contract is to provide Department of Defense customers with a responsive, efficient, and reliable means of obtaining contract labor support to meet the needs of their operational objectives. The objective of GBS is to allow for economies of scale and improved productivity, while saving overall costs of operations at the same or better customer service levels. The GBS program provides contract labor support throughout the United States including Alaska, Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Territory of Puerto Rico in the following functional areas:
